Is My Dog a Good Fit?

Every dog starts with a meet and greet & a trial walk so we can understand their personality, confidence, energy levels, and play style. This helps us create balanced groups and ensure every dog has the best possible experience.

To join our group hikes, dogs must:

• Be friendly with people and other dogs.

• Be comfortable in a group environment.

• Be in good health and up to date on vaccinations.

• Wear a collar or harness with ID tags.

• Male dogs must be neutered.

Safety Comes First

Your dog's safety is our highest priority. Every Whistler dog hike includes:

• Carefully matched groups based on temperament and energy levels.

• Positive reinforcement and fear-free handling.

• Foundational dog training qualifications and pet first aid certification.

• Biscuits Petcare is the only dog walking company in Whistler using GPS collars that work outside of cell service, providing extra safety on our backcountry adventures.

• Individual seatbelts for every dog while travelling in our vehicle.

• Experienced handlers with a strong understanding of canine behaviour and body language.

Hike Schedule

​

We offer two group dog hikes every weekday (Monday to Friday) in both the morning & afternoon. Our hikes are between 1.5 - 2 hours. Availability may vary depending on your pick-up location.

​

Pick-up and drop-off from your home are included, with your dog safely transported to and from the trail in our secure vehicle using seatbelts.

Morning Adventure

• Pick-up: 8:00 am – 9:00 am

• Drop-off: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm

Afternoon Adventure

• Pick-up: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

• Drop-off times vary depending on location and route.
